120MW power plant

Arandis Power  is the special purpose Independent Power Producer (IPP) company in Namibia that has been actively developing since 2008 a 120MW heavy fuel oil thermal power generation project for the sale of electricity to the national utility company, NamPower.

The proposal is structured, within the original framework of the IPP initiative of the Electricity Control Board of Namibia.

The Arandis Power project, worth NAD 2.3 billion in total capital investment, is able to contribute significantly to Namibia’s strategic energy independence.
